We all agree that today belongs to Robert Irwin, right?
At least it better.
Last week @brandonleegowton.bsky.social and I wrote articles on each other's sites about the then-upcoming Cowboys/Eagles game.
He was kind enough to allow me to write one following Dallas winning after being down 21-0.
I had... a lot of fun.
Read:
Had the chance to catch up with DeMarcus Ware this week and I asked him which current Cowboys players he'd love to be teammates with.
When we got to the defensive side of the ball he said (with great excitement) Quinnen Williams.
The Dallas Cowboys defense deserves a lot of credit for buckling down and helping serve as a catalyst for Sunday's rally.
Serious kudos to them. We all doubted. Maybe rightfully so.
But they are clearly turning some type of corner.
Landon Dickerson mentioned after the game how Dallas came out in some 5 man fronts that they weren't expecting from them. Kudos to Eberflus for changing the Cowboys' stripes, because it allowed for Quinnen Williams to wreck run plays like this one

The comments from @brandonleegowton.bsky.social's postgame recap (the one announcing how the Eagles blew a 21-0 lead to the Cowboys and lost in embarrassing fashion) are amazing.

Part of what was so satisfying about the Cowboys and their comeback win against the Eagles was that the rally took the entire team.
Full and complete effort from everybody involved.
So cool. Respect.
Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts have never beaten a Dak Prescott-led Dallas Cowboys team at AT&T Stadium.

This game has been an utter disaster for the Cowboys.
Butttttt (can't help myself and neither can you)
They are only down two possessions and have an entire half.
Dare we believe?
(yes, we know this)
This second half is either going to keep the Cowboys' season on life support or fully end it.
It's hard enough to see them making the playoffs if they win and get to 5-5-1.
But falling to 4-6-1 would make even optimistic conversations feel pretty silly.
