I've had many thoughts and feelings abt gender recently

what if still the same but she/her? not even necessarily girl but like the vibes

after many thoughts and gender I am now on board with she/hering transformers

the world cares. so many ppl care abt creating a world we all want to live in. it's pretty well known now that it's the 1% and big businesses preventing the people from making positive change. but they are not invincible. they are kept up by structures that we can dismantle.

despite the constant violence and legislation against lgbt+ ppl (as well as other minorities) there has been a very noticeable increase in diversity in so many areas! change is happening but as we take steps forward there will be pushback but that also proves we're making progress.

it feels like the world is getting worse and worse and it's important not to ignore these issues but also take time to realize how many things have gotten better as well.

not looking my age is probably something I'm going to have to get used to but the amount of times I'm seen as immature or younger due to simply looking physically younger is annoying.

like on one hand I know it's a privilege to be able to mask stuff but on the other hand like,, it's still difficult.

movies that had huge cultural impacts aren't the same as quality movies imo!!

I love venom deeply it's one of my most watched movies of all time. I understand it's not a movie for 'the best movies of all time' tier list just bc I enjoy watching it. it definitely could have a place on an enjoyable movies list in my opinion! but it's not the same thing.

and I will hold someones hand when I say this, the breakfast club isn't that good. it's simply a cultural icon that hit it's target demographic at the perfect time. they were mean to each other, danced on a table, bullied the principal, and gave a goth girl a makeover. it's an okay movie.

like you can enjoy movies and have feel good movies you watch all the time but you personally liking a movie DOESN'T MAKE IT A GOOD MOVIE. whoever put ET in tho I'm going to force them to sit and watch ET again and tell me it's a good movie.

some of the common picks are like yeah okay back to the future, home alone, American Psycho like yeah those are A quality movies I'll let you have those

maybe the ppl voting for these just have like crazy 80s nostalgia. bc I'm gonna be honest John Hughes movies are fun but like,, that's a filler episode you've stretched into 1+ hour long movie.

also end game and infinity war? ugh 😒 lack of taste. some of the lists have a couple good ones but it's like,,, most of these were just like culturally impactful at the time? but like aren't that good without that aspect.

I'm gonna be so real if ET is on a list of 'best movies of all time' or whatever I immediately do not trust that list. it's so boring and the ending is confusing and anticlimactic. tell me what happens at the end of ET.
