These cinnamon rolls have >1g of sugar in the entire pan. Sweetened with a mix of swerve brown sugar, erythritol and monk fruit. Icing (not pictured) was made with plant based butter, vanilla protein powder, tapioca flour and unsweetened almond milk.

Did some commission work last week. Sticker display, jacket hanger and sign.

There are different types of setters. I use this one for all of my rounded rivets.

Finally got around to updating my website. It still needs work but some of my wood working projects are up now.

My goal for the month is to make five pool cues and twenty picture frames. So far, I’ve got one cue and five frames done.

Spent most of my weekend cleaning the garage but made some stuff today. Two more picture frames and a breaking cue! Art created by Nicole.

Wrapped up this 24” by 24” poplar frame today. It’s sanded but doesn’t have any stain or sealer.

Kent Monkman canvas print arrived today! I’m excited to make a frame for this one.

Two more picture frames today. Both are frames for 8x8 canvas paintings. One is sapele and the other is walnut. Both finished with danish oil.

Another frame! Art by Karl Horeis with a polar frame. I had intended to paint this one so I didn’t think much of the color variation in the wood. I feel like the darker colors in the top right draw the gaze back to the eyes.

Bought this painting at a benefit auction today and decided to make a frame for it. The sapele really makes the color in the canvas pop!

First pool cue is done!

Made this chalk holder today and proceeded to knock it in a pocket while practicing with a friend 😂 Luckily it came through after sending some balls in after it. #woodworking

Danish oil complete. Next step is gloss poly and a leather grip. Trying to decide whether to stick with black or go for some color to make it more vibrant.

Another pool cue. I wanted to try walnut with a smaller diameter tip.

Breaking cue turned out great! Got a ball in on the break in each of my games. Replaced the tip of my main cue for more control and will be trying it out tonight.

First attempt at a pool cue with a lathe. The breaking tip arrives on Tuesday. Hoping to try it out on Wednesday night.

Spent the day making more wooden rings.

I've enjoyed watching your progress on this piece. It inspired me to use some wood scraps from picture frames to make figurines.

Made a ring out of walnut to decompress at the end of the day.

For my next project, I’m planning to make a pair of glasses out of walnut using my old prescription lenses. I’ll post updates here.

Two more picture frames! Remembered to take a couple process photos this time. Wood types are black limba and walnut finished with danish oil.

Made a picture frame using alder and poplar. The wood really compliments the colors of the print. One photo with the acrylic and one without. Absolutely love the print which is The New American Gothic by Criselda.
