I just very gingerly put a half empty bottle of Kefir in the outside bin that had fallen down in the fridge and was hiding because the bottom of the bottle had gone completely convex. No way in hell I'm opening it and tipping whatever now resides in there out.

I also made a spring in an offcuts of copper wire whilst I was eating to use the roller press. Because.... why not?

Next week I'm going to fill the indents with an enamel pen for some more definition.

Back in class today after half-term. Tested out using wire and a press to indent the shape of the bone structure, accidentally cut a bit of it off though 🤦 oh well, it's a test piece.

This one's a bit larger and I like it better so I think I'm going to do my final piece in copper instead of silver

Oh god Ginsters muck 🤢 Tesco's have started selling Rowes pasties and they are...ok.

I've got visitors to bring up some frozen pasties before, usually Barnecutt's. Sainsbury's here for a very short time sold Hog's Pudding but stopped 😭 so I buy a load when I'm home and freeze that too 🤣.

Pasties are one of the things I miss, haven't quite found ones that hit the mark in Wales.

I also found a small hammer with a straight edge that makes lines reminiscent of feathers so I will probably do that on the angel wing for texture instead of the round dots of the ball-peen hammer

Copper concept piece nearly done for my silversmithing class, the bat wing needs something but I don't know what yet. I also need to drill a hole in the top of each wing to put a jump ring through from the chain/cord. #goodomens peeps should recognise what this is!

As if spending nearly two hours sawing copper sheet wasn't enough, I got home and decided to trap a dice in chainmail rings.

Roughly cut copper sheet in three pieces, on the left a feathered wing, on the right a bat wing and in the middle a sandtimer.

Started a mock-up of my final piece, the wings will be in silver and the sand timer in copper. Next week I'm tidying it up and getting some texture on it.
