Earl Cameron CBE was born on this date 108 yrs ago.
Earl, who passed away in 2020, played astronaut Glyn Williams in the 1st Doctor story The Tenth Planet. He was the second black actor in a speaking role to appear on Doctor Who.
The costume he wore on DW was repurposed for The Empire Strikes Back.
