I used to be able to create according to my whims. Now I constantly feel overwhelmed and behind. I'm only 35 and it feels like my body is 80. This injury rules my life. And I still feel bad for people who want to trade art or RP together or even just ... sit and talk. I can't do it all, anymore.

There's so much I wanna do. So many things I wanna participate in. But the reality of my situation is I am very disabled ... and I have to pick and choose EVERYTHING. Every single day. Do I take 15min to cook? Standing means I will lose time to art. Do I shower? That puts me down for the day.

I'm sorry if you wanna do an art trade with me and I haven't expressed much interest beyond wanting to; because of my spine I only have a few hours in my day where I am able to work on my projects. I tend to prioritize those. I only get about 4 good hours before pain sets in and I have to lay down.

If you aren't giving your characters or projects the love they deserve they WON'T get it. It takes dedication and obsession to make it big. You have to be bonkers and make stuff for the sake of making it. Other people do not matter. Blorbos matter. Let yourself play make-believe again. You need it.

Honestly it's disappointing to see people talking about how they have given up on talking about their characters or projects because people weren't interested enough. They won't be if you quit. You gotta keep going. You gotta do it for YOU first for a long time. It's YOURS. So love it.

I have so many things and not enough time or energy. I'm doing my best but maybe extra grace this holiday season is where it's at actually.

I'm ... so exhausted. I'm completely unmotivated. All I wanna do right now is curl up and sleep until spring. 🫩

I'm dealing with registry errors on my desktop and I might eventually have to break down and just replace the entire rig but there's no way funds will allow it. I wish us both a very "can make our comics without losing stuff" from here on out.

Sounds like it may be time to get an external and move everything over ... just in case. Better safe than sorry. I also have to do this and keep seeing signs I should do it. Maybe today is the day.

I am hoping to finish the prologue for Promise Me very soon. And as much as I would love to just dive into Chapter 1 and get into the actual story, I have to work on some stuff for a digital zine I am gonna be in next year first!! So things may seem quiet for a while, but I promise I am busy.

Missing a letter in an important post is so human. The notes start and it's great but in your mind you spelled a word wrong and therefore you must go to SUPER MEGA HELL.

Hello if you have suffered a big breakup with a partner or friends or whatever I am here to tell you that it's okay to stop vague-posting about it. You can just not give them stuff to chuckle over when they inevitably check your space. Give them nothing. Heal. Stop looping it's okay. It's over.

You HAVE TO stop dunking on your own art or you are going to fail as an artist, full stop.

I am looking for ways to obtain some funds with it, yes. But I am also looking for like. Spaces where I can write much more than what Bsky allows. I would like to ramble. I would like to ramble a LOT, actually. I just dunno where is best. I am eyeing Patreon?

If I were to use a platform to start obnoxiously journaling my process/thoughts/ect. for the comic ... where is the best place for it? Kofi? Patreon? Somewhere else? Lemme know!!
