One of my Facebook groups posted about a "new social network that is privacy focused, ad free, and a safe space to share." It's a Canadian entity that seeks to be a place to go if you're leaving FB. This is the link to my page, which has very little on it. hey.cafe/r/accountech

When I was about kindergarten age in the 60s, my best friend was named Bridgette. We pretended she was Brigette Bardot and I was Kim Novak. Of course, we didn't know anything about those women, just that they were famous. Wow, that's a surprise old memory.

News commentators are doing "year in review" and talking a lot about DOGE. That made me want a new meaning for that acronym. I came up with "Destroy Our Government Entirely".

That has some "pot calling the kettle black" vibe.

I just had an odd thought. What if all the agitators and anarchists from the summer of 2020 have now joined ICE so they can get a paycheck for wreaking havoc? If so, there would be no one left in the current protests that has an inclination to cause trouble, so the ICE agents have to do it.
