I just watched a Netflix doc about her and another one about Epstein. Just horrible dangerous people. It seems to me that Trump moving her to minimum security has to be because she has the ability to implicate him and/or so she can be killed.

I got sick while on vacation and am getting better. I turned on Netflix and looked for a true crime doc. But this doc about Ghislaine Maxwell is shocking. It gives a heads up about the scope of the abuse. It’s horrifying to listen to the survivor testimonies.

White militia members kidnapped people and took their land, food, and belongings, enslaved survivors.
I would not be surprised if the government is somehow churning a profit by seizing bank accounts and personal property of immigrants.
So it’s not out of character—it is the historical pattern. 😢

The settlers and federal government were so cruel to the indigenous people. I’m appalled to realize that the towns around me are named for homicidal creeps who led massacres of entire villages of indigenous people.
Reading the details of what happened shook me up and changed my view of America.

We are back from vacation. One of the books I read while away was An Indigenous People’s History of the United States, by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz. I would highly recommend this book, because it clearly portrays how settlers wrenched every plot of land away from people through violent domination.
