It's TDOV again. Where do I begin this? Two years ago a major tv network shared my post and it got bombarded with hate. Since then things have only gotten more hostile. It's hard to point everything out on a visibility sense when the discrimination we now face is so front and center. It's fucking scary out there. It's been at a level of, if you don't see us and what we face, then you truly aren't looking. For longer than I can remember, but even with us being so front and center as the conservatives latest political strawman, still many don't see what is happening and it's terrifying. But we live. We survive. But it's a struggle, and we need help in every sense of the term. Many of us are losing the life and light in our lives in our day to day. We're exhausted and discouraged. Because It's beyond just us fighting for our own freedom, we need others to fight and get loud with us, especially in the face of a faction that wants us gone. But that's just it. They want you to believe we're 'new' and a 'fad'. But we've always been here and we always will be. We're people. We're your neighbors. Your family. We try our best to survive the tumultuous world like everyone else. But it is beyond difficult just to get through the day with everything going on. People I know are running and seeking shelter, but not everyone can. We need voices besides our own speaking and fighting with us more than ever. And someday, and I hope it's in my lifetime, we'll have peace and rest. Some quiet. Because for some of us, all we want more than anything is to simply grow old with those we love. Please remember us this TDOV.
