For me Martinelli is the perfect utility/squad player, he's just not good enough to threaten space on the left side of the pitch as that would free up space for Saka. Ideally we find a player that can nail down the LW position and use Martinelli in certain games where needed.

Not a pleasant watch but three points away at Old Trafford is a brilliant start to the season. The boys will find their feet against Leeds. Its so good to be back!!!

3/x. That deserves criticism, because we care and want the club to achieve something. Two things can be true at the same time. Blind rage gets us nowhere but valid constructive critisisms needs to be heard.

2/x. We we're already short number wise this January, and signed no one. There was already a possibility that overplayed players would get injured, and it happened. This is bad planning from a team that aims to win big trophies.

Look, I agree with the sentiment. But, there is a broad consensus that investments in forwards this summer was needed. Arsenal waited until the last day to loan Sterling, which points to bad planning/execution. 1/x

And when I say season over its over in the way that we can't realistically compete for a PL/CL trophy. I guess we just have to fight to secure top 4 and maybe a run into the quarters/semi in CL.
