demanding my sight,
and my essence,

But here I remain,
not only for you,
for there are depths uncharted,
beyond beliefs.

You glimpse only a sliver,
so I remain,
in this quiet place,
watching endlessly.

a song spoke of emptiness,
once thought to be silly,
faded into a memory.

Now i'm back,
its voice breaks the quiet,
have i become so empty,
that i hear its call?

Fragments of the past linger,
with unanswered questions,
soft tears mark my path,
“Just why...”

In youth, freedom gleamed like treasure,
a promise under open skies.

Years passed, i traded my life
for solitude’s drifting embrace.

Free yet bound,
held by all i know, by silent fears.

I ask, “Where is joy in freedom’s shadow?”
i pause and waiting, until light pulls me out.
