Respiratory immunization using antibiotic-inactivated Bordetella pertussis confers T cell-mediated protection against nasal infection in mice - Nature Microbiology In this preclinical study, the authors find that respiratory immunization with an antibiotic-treated bacterial vaccine is a highly effective approach for inducing tissue-resident memory T cells that protect against lung and nasal infection with Bordetella pertussis.

Wondering if your grant will be reinstated from Monday's ruling? Check here.

Plaintiffs have uploaded a list of 848 (of the ~2400 total terminated) they say are covered because they're to institutions in the states aforementioned or a part of APHA/UAW.

The judge must approve the list first.

RFK Jr. ousts entire CDC vaccine advisory committee Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has removed every member of a scientific committee that advises the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on how to use vaccines.

RFK Jr.โ€˜s extreme anti-vax views โ€” and his related conflicts of interest โ€” were a huge problem during his confirmation process.

So he promised not to change the vaccine advisory panel.

Today, he fired every single expert on that panel. It's a public health disaster.

Funding freeze at Northwestern from Emma Mairson at

Northwestern is keeping research moving and must be spending ~$40 M per month. Clearly not sustainable for too long.
