Mmmmmmm bad omens good

Is it weird to see a video of me hugging a giant plush and start crying? Probably but that’s why ive been in therapy for the past 5 years I think

I want someone to hold me

I think I hold onto things the same way I wish I was held onto

My hands are proof that I am older

To be alive is to be constantly changing I guess

More so I don’t know if a 17 year old version of me would recognize me now

looking at myself in the mirror shows me that I am not still the same 17 year old, yet I don’t know who else I am.

I am not the same person I was at 17 yet we live similar lives. I cannot go back there. the only way to deal with being stuck is knowing the time will pass anyways.

Do we always yearn for how things could[should] have been?

I will forever be 17. Struggling eternally to fit in to all of my surroundings but wanting to believe so desperately that I am a special case. There is grief not yet lived lodged in my throat and it lives there until I am ready to feel it.

I don’t think we truly age past the age we are traumatized at

Ok google can u name the exact feeling of looking at your hands in a video and thinking “wow I’m getting older, I am a different age than how I see myself in my head and the physical proof that I am alive at an older age than I thought I would be is making me warmly sad”

I went to see Iron Lung last weekend and I have to admit it was amazing.

Simon/The Convict. the protagonist of Iron Lung, sits at the back of the submarine lookinc defeated. He holds the pendant in his hand blood coverina the tips of his fingers and spattering his clothes and face. The camera screen shows a closeup of the monster's eve staring at him, while the terminal appears to be playing a voice recording. Through the haze capillary vessels can be seen crawling through cracks and trving to reach Simon, almost as if they're attempting to comfort him.
