I don't hate winter, although when we have day after day of rain it can get very depressing. On the other hand a crisp, bright, sunny, winter day can be very invigorating. Of course, having to get dressed to go outside is a big disincentive!

I've slept naked for, probably, 60 years and can recall my mother asking me if my pyjamas needed washing and sheepishly admitting I didn't wear them any more. Took a bit longer to realise that I didn't have to dressed when I got up.
