An Taoiseach Micheal Martin and Minister for Housing James Browne TD turned the sod to mark the start of construction on an affordable housing development in Clongriffin.

It is the first phase of a major Land Development Agency housing development involving over 1,800 homes.

Landowners, the new Residential Zoned Land Tax is in effect from February.

There is an opportunity to make a rezoning request for 2025 as well as submissions in relation to the 2026 maps by the 1st of April 2025.
