My statement on pausing SB 549.

Over the next few weeks, I intend to take in all of your feedback and consider how and if we can craft the bill in a way that truly helps the community rebuild. Indeed this is only worth doing if it does so.

#SB549 is proposing to establish a Resilient Rebuilding Authority to streamline and lower the costs of rebuilding areas impacted by the LA Fires. It would be led by input and guidance from the impacted community, and retains local control. (1/2)
