I have cried from sadness or anger or fear at least once a day in 2025. Is this just life now? How are we going to get through this???

It’s shocking to me how his last term was not that long ago, within my small child’s lifetime, and somehow most people seem to have totally forgotten how absolutely bonkers bad things were. We are so screwed. So fucking screwed.

A woman I know here is a foster parent. Has been getting calls non stop to take in kids whose parents are being deported. It’s been one week. I don’t know how we are supposed to get through 4 years of this.

If the language is too specific, Insurance companies will use any money received through GFM to reduce payouts and reimbursements. I.e. avoid saying the money is to rebuild a home or replace specific belongings. The advice going around is to keep language vague - “rebuilding our lives” and so on.

Things that annoy the hell out of me: when people use the term “love language”, “my tribe” and when people who are not my kid call me Mama.

I also wish this, and I wish the budgets were more doable. It’s a lot of work for little or no pay and starts to not be as much fun after a while.
