At a village meeting in the week, I somehow ended up joining both the Book Group and the committee for the church Friends.
It might have been the mention of both meetings revolving mainly around wine that clinched it…
Anyway, I now need to read this by Thursday to be up to speed for Book Group 📚🍷

Two bags of topsoil shifted and distributed along the back of the borders to soften the concrete fence base boards and give more planting space.
The bags were at the front of the house, and the weather’s cold and damp, so clothes on today.
Any volunteers for knee scrubs? I’m not sure I can move!

Fursday, and a floral refresh.
Alstroemeria in the kitchen, as they give a show that lasts weeks, and roses in memory of my partner’s father, whose funeral was yesterday.
The family tribute was shared among mourners, a lovely touch, and included flame lilies for the family’s 20 years in Rhodesia.

Morning meanders are just a little bit lighter again, even on an overcast day.

My first naturist experience away from home was visiting a beach in Sussex about an hour’s drive from home in my late teens / very early twenties.

I didn’t sit for long, the table & chairs were assembled in the greenhouse for a reason! 🌧️
