Rough sleeping to be decriminalised in England and Wales The government plans to scrap the Vagrancy Act and bring in laws to focus on crimes like organised begging by gangs.

The 201 year old Vagrancy act in the UK will finally be got rid of next year. πŸ₯³

Criminalising people for living on the streets never helped to address the issues that led them to be there in the first place. So this is a positive step forwards.

Happy Earth Day. Here are a few pics from the Brecon Beacons this Easter weekend.

PR campaign may have fuelled food study backlash, leaked document shows Eat-Lancet report recommended shift to more plant-based, climate-friendly diet but was extensively attacked online

1. Whenever you see really vicious and widespread "spontaneous" attacks on scientific findings that challenge powerful economic interests, you can be assured that corporate lobbyists have been busy behind the scenes.

Just had a wonderful afternoon where some of the amazing children from St. Margarets Primary School were presenting what they learnt about SALVE International to the community, MP Afzal Khan and Mayor Andy Burnham.

The children went on to fundraise for us making cupcakes too!

Yesterday marked #WorldWaterDay, and we're celebrating what happens when you give rivers the room to do what they do best.

Making #SpaceForWater can take many forms - from reconnecting floodplains and establishing wetlands, to rewiggling watercourses and planting trees.

A friend was recently teaching me about the Japanese concept of Kintsugi - where you repair broken things using gold to make a feature of the repair and celebrate the imperfection.

I think this is a beautiful idea.

Starmer and Badenoch clash over defence spending at PMQs The prime minister announced the UK will reallocate aid funds to boost military spending to 2.5% of GDP by 2027.

An eye for an eye only leads to more blindness. Taking money from the world's poorest people to increase defence spending is counter intuitive and will lead to more insecurity long term. πŸ˜ͺ
