I appreciate this. I also understand why students freak out. My mother died (hospice, my profs were aware for weeks) and I wasn’t allowed to turn in a paper late without her death certificate, which takes weeks to get. The class was over by then. I got a C in the class, with a 98% average.

Seems like this administration needs to go by the Dave Ramsey method… if they don’t have money in their little envelope, they can’t start wars.

My ex works for Grammarly and you will not be shocked to learn he once looked at a huge stack of books I was assigned for a semester and said “I’ve read most of those, they should give me a degree too.” He has no degree. He has no respect for the work it takes to get one.
