Working on the cover for the next issue. It’s not done yet but doing this is so good for me because it keeps my brain active and not just dooming on the future but actually fighting against it, even in just a small way.

A reminder that my brand new novel is out now! I self published this, my sixth novel, because it’s so timely I wanted it out now. The book takes places in the spring of 2026 and is a bit of a parable about the situation in Europe now. It prolly makes a great gift!

As someone who used to teach a course on American media at a Germany university in the late Bush II years, I have trouble getting my head around the fact that (Bloody) Bill Kristol is one of our clearest voices on the descent into authoritarianism and fascism in 2025. Bill Kristol!!!

This is why the summer issue of lagniappe is going to come out as the Fall issue. I’ve written 100,000+ words on a new novel in the last 4 months and it’s taking all my artistic energy to try and get through the first draft before I work on the next issue of lagniappe. I hope y’all understand…

I’ve been working hard on a novel the past few months and am planning to go to the States in 3 weeks & won’t be able to finish the issue before then anyway. I’ve given out ~ 10 copies of my fanzine the past couple months to people from Palestine, Switzerland, Libya, Romania, Ireland, Vietnam. Feels good spreading the word and reminding those with latent antifascism that it’s time to unlock that side of themselves like a secret level in a video game.

A question many of us white guys would like to know how best to proceed. Good on this person for asking for the rest of us.

Gave two fanzines to Antifa people walking in the gay parade today. Hope they can enjoy it even though they it’s in English.
