But, for me, if I'm planning an army, I've gotta embrace it fully, so if you're hesitant it's probably not the right path to go down?. Waaay too many projects of mine never fully took off because I didn't love every part of it: There's a reason the Rootkin have been my hobby staple for 6+ years now!

Silly always has a place in Warhammer. a number of factions all have silly ideas or themes at their core, but have enough serious over the top of it that they work as factions even if you don't acknowledge the silly (Gloomspite, skaven, and flesh eater courts all come to mind)
