if you like spicy my favorite thing is the dry fried beef and the diced chili chicken from cheng du. chong qing has almost the same chicken (chong qing chicken) and cumin beef which is amazing. they also both have great duck

love those noodles and also the cold sesame noodles from cheng du. some of my all time favorite noodles

Quincy also has amazing chinese food especially cantonese. but the quality of basic neighborhood places just seems absurdly high

though tbf im in pawtucket so all my usual places are very very close to MA

fwiw ive found RI and MA to be basically on/near par with each other. and if you try to get regional with it suddenly RI is phenomenal. cheng du taste on smith street is unbelievable. chong qing house formerly on... wickenden i think now in east prov is also amazing

hey is it true that massachusetts has especially good chinese food. ive heard this a few times. never had a lot out chinese food out of state but i've had friends from MA in new york and on the west coast all say this. ive never thought of chinese food comparatively against other states

the miserable thing is that i know why they did it and it's because the new recipes photograph better. you could make a claim that the sauce now has a better texture but all the ingredients have worse textures (BAD trade)

the hot food slop boil meal dog food slop i eat 5-15 times a week changed their recipes and my favorite one is now completely inedible, almost all the flavors are worse, and for some reason, in all the flavors with noodles, a huge percentage of noodles never fully soften (which didnt used to happen)

It's completely impossible to know anything, because of the times, but it's especially true for "health and wellness". If you have a question about your body, finding an answer is almost perfectly synonymous with finding a bad answer and a sales pitch
