6) Saravam Maya (2025)
I liked this one a lot more than I expected to. It was really sweet, and the character writing/acting felt super on point. Malayalam movies never fail to impress

So mediocre it hurts

9/10
5) Looking Glass Sound (2023)
Consider my mind thoroughly fucked
8/10
4) Feed them Silence (2023)
Sigma males like me (get it, like wolves) would not be in a relationship to have it deteriorate like that :sunglasses:
8/10
3) Hell's kitchen Season 24 (2025)
First season of the show I watched live! My fav didn't make it to the end unfortunately, but there was some juicy drama and it was a fun watch, Im happy with the winner as well!
8/10
2) Witchcraft for Wayward Girls (2025)
I liked it, I don't know if I'd call it a horror novel though. Cause while some parts of it were certainly gory, and there was the slight cosmic aspect of it, overall it felt a lot more like a melodrama.
7/10
1) Akhanda 2: Thaandavam (2025)
Starting off the year strong with some insane slop. Just beautiful propaganda slop. This appeals to exactly 1 archetype of 50 year old indian uncle.
2.5/10
And that's a wrap on 2025. Onto 26 and hopefully more cool media!
01.01.2026 21:49 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 062. Chasing Homer (2019)
Very interesting read. Im not sure I fully got it, but I also kinda get it?
8/10
61. Marty Supreme (2025)
Y'know what, timothee deserved to go all out on that press tour, this movie fucking ruled
9/10
60. Adhurs (2010)
A somewhat bog standard plot with utterly baffling cinematography decisions.
6/10
59. Come Tomorrow
Its fascinating reading horror set in your own hometown, rooted in folklore that you grew up with. I don't think any of these were particularly scary, not in the traditional sense, but I did get that feeling of being a kid listening to your friend's scary stories again.
8.5/10
58. Pokemon Legends ZA - Mega Dimensions
I had fun with it, ZA writing funny as fuck as always, and the gameplay loop was solid. I wish you had better control over getting the evil fucked up berries though.
8/10
57. Vigilance (2019)
Man it sucks to read about a dystopia that is plausible to happen in your lifetime.
7.5/10
56. Convenience Store Woman (2016)
We're reaching levels of loser boyfriend I didnt even know was possible to reach. Also girl u need an autism diagnosis like yesterday.
6.5/10
55. The Devil She Knows (2025)
Really good cover, but the book feels a bit like a mid 2000s romcom. Girl spends 70% of it thirsting over her loser ex and the actual romance is only the last bit which is a bit rushed. Narrator popped off though (audiobook yay)
6.5/10
54 Birdbox (2014)
pretty cool book! Didn't really feel much like a horror book though, more thriller-y? I enjoyed it regardless. I should watch the movie at some point but I know Ill be scared of that lol
7.5/10
53. Pokemon Dreamstone Mysteries (2025)
Another day another romhack. Fun custom region, interesting mon availability, and pretty cool trainer teams. Felt a lot like a vanilla game. Not a fan of how much "choose 1, rest are unobtainable" there was built into the game design.
7/10
52. The Sexual Politics of Meat (35th anniv edition)
A very dense book, physically and in terms of its writing. Very interesting book though, shines a light on a lot of connections between meat and patriarchal power structures that are intuitive but not exactly outwardly stated.
9.5/10
51. Hades 2 (2025)
Fun time, Im counting seeing the credits as "completing" the game even though I know there's more to do postgame. Characters felt weaker than 1 but the gameplay is so good goddamn. Also need to figure out hidden aspects but whatever.
8.5/10
50. One Battle After Another (2025)
Good ass movie goddamn I forgot what it feels like to flex my media literacy.
9/10
49. Pokemon Legends ZA (2025)
I liked it! Overall had a lot more polish than I was expecting, core gameplay loop is great, battles feel a bit clunky but is overall good. Lack of voice acting sucks. So many scenes felt like they were supposed to have them but its just, not there.
8/10
48. War 2 (2025)
Drink every time someone double crosses someone else
4/10
47. Six Word Wonder
Tonally inconsistent as hell. Most of these 6 worders are like, facebook mom humor, there's some really poignant ones in there, but you go from joke to attempted serious to batshit insane so quickly that it lessens the impact of each.
5/10
46. Disclaimer (2015)
It was fine, I think. The descriptions felt a little gaudy at times, and I didn't super care for the plot. I think I was mostly expecting something entirely different from the cover, and so my expectations were dashed when it was just kinda bland
6/10
45. Carmichael's Dog (1992)
Im conflicted. I've wanted to read this for years now, but while the experience is funny, it also feels sort of excessively self indulgent. Lots of woe-is-me writing hard :(. And I like meta humor it just fluctuates between well done and not here I think.
6.5/10
44. Hollow Knight: Silksong (2025)
I cannot believe I played this game for almost 60 hours and there's no instance of hornet saying Shaw. Are you insane team cherry? Actually dogshit game
9/10
43. Azhagiya Tamil Magam
You will never be able to predict the next thing this movie throws at you. Genuinely, clinically insane.
either 1/10 or 9/10 and I cannot decide
42. Kuruvi (2008)
This movie, not the lehman brothers, is what caused the depression that year
2/10
41. Little Heaven (2017)
I felt grimy as hell finishing this book. Need a shower tbh
8.5/10
