Spent like 2hrs working on a sketch for a character in Hades trying to get the pose right.
Only to then realize that the pose idea doesn't work with the char oriented in that direction.
Time to start over

Stopped drawing "things I want" for the past like year & just decided to focus entirely on studying anatomy instead.

Wrote down all my ideas so I could come back to them later, but given that most of them involve anatomy & my skill & understanding has improved massively. I don't really regret it

Any artists have any affordable recommendations for art scanners? Would like to be able to preserve & keep digital copies of my traditional artwork should I ever sell or give anything away

As someone else who's also primarly an FFXIV story player who's prior favorite was also Heavensward & only thought Shadowbringers was just alright. I absolutely loved Endwalker & would highly highly reccomend playing through it

Truly amazing band. One day I'll get myself an 8 string for the sole purpose of playing their stuff

Probably past time I get to reading GITS & Devilman with how much I love their anime

Caught up with Gachiakuta in about 3 sessions of reading. Now to decide what manga I'll read next

Started the Gachiakuta manga this morning, read 82 chapters (thus far). Would probably have read more or been near caught up if not for having other things to also do.

Absolutely loved it thus far, tons of incredible & inspiring art full of style & I connect with the themes a lot

Starting to feel like I have a solid enough foundation & understanding of anatomy to start making the stuff I want to. Still have much more to learn in other fundamentals but it feels good to feel like my efforts have paid off

Do you have any good reference pics of Bloodborne's Ludwig?

Really enjoying it myself. Loved Soul Eater when I was younger & in many ways this feels like a spiritual successor. Dunno if she ever worked on Soul Eater herself but I know the mangaka was one of Atsushi Ohkubo's assistants so I guess it makes sense

The more I do the more I realize I'm capable of accomplishing. Never satisfied, always exhausted.
