In the Free City of Toraco Bay, at the heart of the Tigerseye, one may find themself drawn to the Opal Librarium. Among its vast collections and catalogues one could spend a week within its halls without intaking a fraction of the tomes on offer. In the deepest recesses, where the sound of the tide washes slowly and deep, a single Drow makes her way to the restricted section. Kalmah served as librarian and curator of this particular wing of the librarium. She had originally hated going into the deep dark, as it brought up memories of her childhood underground until one fateful night. Now, she spends hours secluded there with her favorite book… In photo we see a Naked Drow holding a book to cover her chest as tentacles appear to be coming from the pages. She is shivering and looks startled as she has been walked in on. She says to the viewer "U-um, you shouldn't be here. T-this is th-the Restricted Section." Behind her are shelves of books and a prismatic glowing gem to her left and a lit candle to her right on a stone wall.

Kalmah, my drow OC and her companion book. This started out as a book meme piece but I let the intrusive thoughts win 😅 (I got character development out of it so win/win). Added a short story in alt text. Might do more of this duo in the future 💜
