So two or so weeks ago I bought a new little screen less digital camera. I'm planning to use it on my trip to Japan. On my lunch breaks I've been taking little adventures in the city.

My brain can be so ridiculously determined when it doesn't want to do a thing. I'm simultaneously frustrated and impressed.

I've worked some lovely places, but I've also worked places where I had full blown panic attacks at the office.

For clarification, I work in fashion and have for 13 years. It's one of those fields where 50% of graduates leave after 5 years.

Is realizing that you have some serious workplace trauma a normal thing? Or is it just a high stress line of work thing?

It's not. The rapid erosion of our democracy is. What are you doing about it? At what point are you going to wake up and realize it's all falling apart? You are a NY Senator, where I live, vote and pay taxes. What are you doing about this? If you think inflation is the issue, clearly nothing.

I work in fashion, it's all made up. There's a semi consistent spec for what's a S vs M vs L But then you get some places throwing vanity sizing at you. For example, once upon a time (Late teen) I was generally a size 4 but when I tried a pair of pants on at Express I was a 00. Which is just silly.

The goal is to widen that scope and broaden my horizons, as it were. Wish me luck!

Since I've had a desire to do fashion design from pretty early on, it was pretty uncommon for me not to do fashion sketches and let's be real, they were pretty mid (mercifully they aren't really used professionally these days)

Today, I pick my art journey back up. I'm learning, I'm studying, and I really want to get back into the thick of it.
