Happy to report back that double-sided tape (the kind with a paper backing) on the inside & outside of the hoop worked great with felt.

PS Im happy to hear your arthritis doesn't hinder your work. Given family history/ hints from my aging body, arthritis is probably in my future, too. I ❤️ doing hand embroidery, I'd hate to have to give it up. 🤞

Squeezing while holding everything in place & spreading it out before it cools is challenging anyway, with arthritis more so. Purse clips & toothpicks can help but you still gotta be quick. I'm almost done my current piece. I think I'll test out some other types of glue/tape & report back.

It can get really messy. I've had to tear fabric off & scrape hot glue blobs lots of times. Actual ribbon is harder to work with than felt or cotton, too. Heavier fabrics seem to be much more forgiving.

Hot glue, although sometimes it gets very messy. Try to do it as thin as possible on the inside of the hoop. If it does go on a little thick wrapping the inner hoop in fabric to give it something to sink into can hide lumps.

Maybe because of the curb in order to actually get on the ramp you'd have to make a U-turn?

The concrete curb is a bit obscured by the text but from memory it's clearly scooped out to be a right turn slip lane. So I wouldn't do it, although if that is the intention, there should be a sign.

The peer pressure is very, very strong, and there's a glut of YouTube gamers promoting them. Fortnite is less bad, but my kid is just not wired (or perhaps wired too well) to handle either game responsibly. I feel bad because of the FOMO, but I think it will be better for them in the long run.

Our kid keeps bugging us to let them play both Roblox & Fortnite, but its a hard no, for so many reasons, including the one you mentioned.

Right? The only people quoted as having a problem don't live there on the regular but run short-term rentals instead. They're fine with commercial operations in the community as long as its the kind of business they're running.

They are not, this one was $4k and the cheapest I could find. Gaming licenses complicate things, too, because you're limited to suppliers that are also licensed by the province.
