Got a nice G1 Getaway figure recently. It's missing all the accessories, and a bit yellow, but it's still pretty fun. Stickers are in decent shape considering the age too.

That's what I went with!
Figured it would be fun to try something different, and SBEMU drivers had a convenient pre-built image of it that I could use.

I ended up going with DOS. It was fast enough for Windows 98, but finding drivers was a pain, especially the sound drivers.
Oddly enough, retro computing fans have made custom sound drivers for DOS, so it has better hardware support these days.

Ended up going with DOS instead of Windows 98. Should be good enough for some old DOS games.

I'm trying to give my old netbook some sort of purpose. It was too slow even for its time, but maybe it can be a good Windows 98 machine.

She's still having some issues, but things are improving. If she's not 100% by tomorrow we'll take her to the vet.

Really hoping that my car registration gets taken care of this week. If it doesn't I think I might have to contact a lawyer about it, and I really don't want to have to do that.

Today has sucked.
Selene isn't feeling well and has had lots of accidents.
And while I'm dealing with that, I also have been trying to find out what's going on with my car registration. Apparently it's stuck in some sort of weird limbo.

I haven't had any issues with it since I first did it in 2018.

I did have a minor issue with some power supplies not correctly using a pin that caused issues with the drive not being detected, but a molex to sata power adapter fixed that at the time, and a new PSU hasn't had that issue.

I haven't really played with it too much yet. I want to go to a park or something to play with it.

The part that always confuses me is that external drives are almost always cheaper than the same size internal drive. Why on earth would the one with the external case be cheaper? They're often higher quality drives too.

I've bought a few and shucked them to use in my home server.

I really like the background blur on this new lens. It has a bit of a dreamlike look to it.

Our bunny friend came to visit this morning. It had a baby this time too!
Sadly I didn't get a pic of the baby.

The new lens isn't really meant for taking toy pics, but I like what it does with depth of field blur. Looks really nice. Just weird taking photos of a toy from across the room.

Got myself a new camera lens. It was used, and the auto-focus is a bit flaky, but it's been fun to play with so far. Though it's funny how it's bigger and heavier than the camera body.

That's a really good price.

From what I've looked up it's apparently a tad slow for its class (about 250-300MBps, but otherwise good. That speed seems pretty good for bulk storage to me.

My secondary PC is Linux, and it's been great. If not for work I think I'd totally switch.

Got to go to a Royals game last night. Haven't been in a while. I like Kauffman Stadium. It's a shame they want to replace it.
