I appreciate you so much! 💖 It was such a random, spur of the moment photo, but what you say is so true! There's so much around the house that make great photos - strange lighting artifacts, shadows, odd perspectives. Sometimes I forget that there's an entire universe in my own apartment. 😅

I love that pattern so much, how it almost evenly starts out green in the center (disk florets?) and slowly darkens the further out it goes. It's so pretty! 🌻

And just to emphasize the angry boomers complaining part, my local town recently banned or restricted gas powered leaf blowers because of the noise and pollution, and all of the boomers on Next Door are complaining about "wOkE gOVeRnMeNT oVErrEAch." 🙄

What punishment?! Women (both drivers and passengers) are disproportionately sexually assaulted by men and something needs to be done. Men aren't being punished here; women are being protected.

Complaining about losing access to women in enclosed, private spaces sounds really creepy.

Our only choice was Harris in 2024 because Biden waited until it was practically impossible to have a primary to drop out. In the 2019-2020 primaries, after a strong start, Harris' campaign was largely a disaster, forcing her to drop out. She wasn't even close to winning her own home state in 2019.

It's such an amazing album - these first few My Dying Bride albums (along with other British doom bands Paradise Lost and Anathema) kind of defined the whole doom metal genre in the 90s. The music is atmospheric, dramatic, and heavy - layers of violin and keyboards.

There are no real lyrics, though some tracks have samples. One song narrates lines from Oscar Wilde's "The Happy Prince." The music makes you feel like you're being devoured by a vortex. Imagine free falling into a violent storm on a distant planet with time flowing backwards.

I probably spent 5 years, maybe more, listening to this CD every night while sleeping. It was a dark ambient album called "While you Sleep" by A Murder of Angels. I wanted it to infect my dreams. The music is so unsettling, with dark tones looping over and over.

We absolutely can and should. ❤️‍🩹 Little by little we can fix it all. Nurturing and empathy will heal so much. 💛

That "STOP" is always so powerful, both on the pavement and in print. 🛑
