Always exciting to see our local (North London) urban Kingfisher today on a favourite perch, blending in with the graffiti!😃 Often possible see 10-15 bird species on a 20 minute walk with the dog along the New River.

I must agree with this post, I'm now listening to this podcast for the second time and perhaps surprisingly there is some very cool science discussed in it too. I have bought three books off the back of it! Currently reading the excellent "Losing Eden" by Lucy Jones (discussed in Episode 2).

Moving from "Twatter" over to here now, it will take time to build up followers again. I haven't posted for ages there as it just got so awful! In an attempt to kickstart things again, here is not a newly emerged alien, but a recently new born naked mole-rat (with another in the background)!😃
