If I understand this correctly, in other words if you knock on 2000 doors, and 1000 people answer, and the number who were going to go out and vote was 400, you just increased that to somewhere between 412 and 420.
That's a long hard slog for those extra 12-20 votes.

Totally fair.
I think state of the art PDFs are one thing, but it will be a long time, if ever, that run of the mill ones will be accessible.
And none of that even addresses reformatting/reflowing which by definition is kind of the opposite of how people think of PDFs.
I don't think of it like unchangeable, but rather "this is what I'm going to print". So using it for worksheets, exams, handouts, etc., where I need to see how stuff fits on the page.
