okay its signalis' 3rd anniversary AND its also on sale for steam scream. buy it, or else

iirc it was just meant to shift the day towards having more sunlight hours during usual wake times in order to save consumption of gas in war times, because they were REALLY desperate to save resources or something like that

yeeeah unfortunately there isn't much more to it than "oh cynosure tried to weaponise deep web ais by making them 100 times more powerful and bartmoss basically freed them from their prison until netwatch built a wall", that's All there is to it

yeah ngl it was a lot better, gameplay wise and writing-wise, undoubtedly, but nothing will ever beat how fucking sick the section was where you went side by side with so mi at the train terminal just killing people with the blackwall

also yeah, curiousity got the better of me. while king of wands was cool, i just wanted to see what this was about since i've seen a short clip of the cynosure facility and couldn't help myself. i think insofar as my playthrough goes, i'll be replacing this as my "canon" ending for PL.

cyberpunk 2077 (king of cups ending)

need a lot of time to recover. it was amazing, i really didn't expect such a well done switch to horror, but it was super fun - until the end.
fuck me. i've never had to make such an extremely painful choice. cried even harder than when i finished signalis.

the game technically only says "tequila old fashioned", but i wanted to make it more johnny-esque and did an old fashioned tequila ADDED rather than an old fashioned made WITH tequila, because the drink technically contained gasoline before the game came out and i felt more booze was appropriate

the jackie is vodka, lime juice, ginger ale and according to the game "a splash of love" - since the drink looks pink in the game i used some pink grapefruit syrup

the johnny is tequila, whiskey, a few dashes of bitters, sinple syrup, topped off with cerveza and garnished with a chili pepper

also i only ever used 4 quickhacks in the first place, shit like weapon malfunction and reboot optics is just kinda useless if i can kill someone stealthily with system collapse/suicide + memory wipe
put ping in there for scouting and you have a perfectly good build

can't relate i overuse that shit to wipe out entire camps of enemies bc if you combine it with overclock and a certain perk tree it just keeps going and going and going ALTHOUGH i have to optimise for ram recovery a bit to make it more efficient

also i partially chose so mi's path bc i found out about the blackwall gateway quickhack and i thought i'd get it from her but then the game disappointed me so i just coughed in the canto so i can have fun giving people torturous demises on my main save

i think i'm not gonna do any other endings for a whiiiiiile, hanako can starve in that restaurant idc

ngl i planned on just watching someone else play it, because i really don't wanna play the game 4 times over *yet* + my partner told me how it goes down and it's so depressing lmao

despite everything i stayed with so mi until the end, anything else felt extremely wrong to me, which paid off since i haven't done any of the main endings yet
just so sick, 10 out of fucking 10, def left me a bit broken

played this with my partner for the most part - as a fan of the m1 (insert buzz lightyear wall gif) and someone who usually picks snipers in games, this only gets better by the fact that you get to flatline fascists on incredibly detailed maps with plenty side content. love it, 9/10

i already knew halo 2 was gonna be WAY better than ce, but yeah this was peak
actually good storytelling, no repetitive levels, consistently fun as fuck sections, way more fun weapons (and dual-wielding), it actually got challenging sometimes, and the characters had so much more to them
