However that being said I am a massive fan of re-engineering “rules” to fit new objectives or just fancy a change to see what happens!

I would like to respectfully push back that this is a real game for real students learning early counting principles. It may have a short shelf life, however tagging, stable order, cardinality, heierarchical inclusion, subitizibg, are all very important.
