We host a book swap at the end of the year. We collect donations and then students can all get the same number of books to keep, regardless of how many they donated.

Look at my young novelists go! They get a box colored in for each 10% of their word goal they complete. I use a different color for each club meeting so we can see our progress over time!

For me it’s about an hour a day. I definitely burned out when I tried to do a thousand words every day, but now November is pretty much the only time of year I write a new novel.

Revisions are a big struggle for me, so extra good luck for yours!

I agree. This is year 20 for me and that’s what I do! After year 10 or so, I started to aim for 2,000 a day so I can finish earlier!
