At CTE to help encourage less transport on our roads for our events, we do a car sharing & public transport lottery.
Every runner who car shared & came by public transport to the Surrey Hills Marathon was put in the "hat" & the draw was carried out by my capable assistants Gimli & MrT.

Afternoon out with Pete & the dogs on the SHM route for a final sweep. It's gorgeous out there!

Well these are nice! The White Rhino half Marathon medal & the Black Rhino Marathon medal.
With an 8hr cut off for both races, it's a must do for everyone. Every penny in profit is split between Save the Rhino & our Charity of Liver Cancer Research.

What an amazing day yesterday was. We had a record entry field, perfect course conditions, a new course record and, best of all...no rain.

Thanks to all the amazing volunteers who helped make the race happen, you're all awesome.

Very little running chat from me lately though as I’m off games for a bit with a gammy leg (calf strain).

I’ll be photographing at the Surrey Hills Marathon for @canarytrails.bsky.social tomorrow though, so if anyone’s running it do say hello.

Great to have you back Lenny. The course is in superb condition & fingers crossed the rain will hold off for the day. We've a strong field of runners so the course records are in danger of going!

Great news folks, we've managed to get permission for an additional 50 entries on the Surrey Hills Marathon on the 22nd March so we've opened the entries up again. Best move quickly though if you want to enter, we won't be able to get anymore after this.
