The corporate media has made itself irrelevant by tossing out journalistic standards. They are merely megaphones for the oligarchs and don't give a damn about the country.
I don't get my news from them anymore. And if you subscribe to Ground News you can learn outlets' bias.

Having to see clips of every fast food CEO eating a hamburger while all but saying, "Haha, I'm not like other CEOs! Here at my company, we do things just a *little* bit differently! ;)" is a significantly worse fate than the one fast food CEO appearing disingenuous.

In America many people are illeducated creating a environment a whole world for Trump supporters to feel really confident to continue their support for him
They simply can not give any Critical Thought to his performance. None.
Their belief that he does a good job is enough for them.
Cult not CT.

Today's abysmal jobs report is a reminder that tax cuts for corporations and the rich donโt create jobs or grow the economy.
What's required is investment in working people โ and better wages.
When workers have money to spend, the economy grows and businesses create more jobs.
Remember this.

Black-and-white formal portrait of Alva Myrdal (1902โ1986), the Swedish diplomat, sociologist, politician, and Nobel Peace Prize laureate. She is photographed against a dark background, resting her chin thoughtfully on her left hand, which displays a large, ornate ring. Her expression is calm, wise, and slightly introspective, with deep-set eyes, fine lines of age, and a gentle smile. Her silver-gray hair is styled in a soft, voluminous updo typical of the mid-20th century, and she wears a dark tailored jacket or dress with a simple collar, along with a distinctive metal wristwatch on her left arm. Alva Myrdal was a pioneering figure in social policy, women's rights, and international disarmament. With her husband Gunnar Myrdal, she co-authored the influential 1934 book Kris i befolkningsfrรฅgan (Crisis in the Population Question), which shaped Sweden's progressive family and welfare policies. She served as Sweden's Minister for Disarmament and Church Affairs (1966โ1973), headed UNESCO's social science department, and played a key role in the United Nations. In 1982, she shared the Nobel Peace Prize with Alfonso Garcรญa Robles for her lifelong work on nuclear disarmament and peace advocacy through organizations like the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and Pugwash Conferences. Known for her intellectual rigor, feminist principles, and commitment to global justice, she remains an icon of principled leadership in diplomacy and social reform.#AlvaMyrdal #NobelPeacePrize #Disarmament #SIPRI

You are kind to think the GOP cultists are decent people who are scared of Trump. Considering the number courting "donors" from big military contractors who are seeing big contracts coming due to this latest war, I think it about greed for money and power. It's not their families killed, so f*ck em.

For most people, stable employment is disappearing and being replaced by precarious, low-paid work. Stability is a thing of the past now. Over 2 billion workers worldwide have no job security or benefits.

As if Trump and co. give a damn about that.
Couldn't be bothered to evacuate Americans from places that were likely candidates for Iranian retaliation. Oil company execs' private jets had military escorts out, regular folk were told to get out now, on commercial jets, which are all grounded.

Might look in the Epstein files to find a man who is a kindred spirit to Donny.

Oregon Senate Passes Bipartisan Measure Investing
in the Stateโs Natural Environment and Wildlife
House Bill 4134 relies on taxes paid by visitors in hotels, motels, and other vacation stays
SALEM, OR โ The same gorgeous landscapes that draw tourists to our state will get new investments funded by those visitors under legislation passed today in the Oregon Senate. A tax on hotels, motels, and vacation stays will help pay for wildfire resilience, invasive-species eradication, wildlife conservation, and prevention of poaching. The broadly supported, bipartisan measure helps reverse decades of underfunding for protection of fish and wildlife.
INBOX: The Oregon Senate passed the 1.25 Percent for Wildlife bill, which will raise the stateโs lodging tax by 1.25 percent to fund wildlife conservation programs, mostly through the Dept of Fish and Wildlife. This has been a long time in the making.
