Austria, Germany and Switzerland bringing songs with very different vibes but each of the three are set to slay in my rankings. First DACH joint slay since 2018 for me, here's hoping Nemo's win has inspired the region to a new slay era 💜

My 2¢ on the Kant affair - words only have the power that we give them. So many women and queer folk are reclaiming the word cunt as something positive, like in the context of the song here. To say it's never appropriate and always a slur gets in the way of that reclaiming effort.

For real, I mean I am a very big fan of Balkans at ESC usually but in that year I got an entire Balkan top 4 🇷🇸🇲🇰🇧🇦🇸🇮 and all the others are like top 15. Immaculate set of entries

For years, I've kept track of my most played track over the past 365 days and today it's changed to none other than Zjerm 🔥🇦🇱 💜 Made of by Goldielocks is hot on its heels though so I'm curious to see how long the reign will be!

Disappointed that it was close but no cigar for Lusterka - such a distinctive vibe musically, and bringing a regional language from Poland for the first time ever would have been incredible. Would have been my fav Polish entry since, ironically, Sama. But Gaja is still high this year for me

I've at least liked, mostly loved, almost all Italian entries since they returned and nonetheless Quando sarai piccola would contend for being my favourite of the whole bunch. It exists beyond time and is just so deeply moving and sincere. I hope so much that Cristicchi says yes to ESC if he wins 💜

my top 12... so far not a vintage year for me, I adore Zjerm, really like Asteromata and enjoy a few others but I really hope the next week will add at least another song I love. After the last two nights, it's mourning Made of, Sadzejot, Heaven Sent, Fire/Powerplay and Sil' hours at Aviera HQ!
