I think it's really interesting and helps to protect yourself next year with Rogers/Eflin/Bassitt all potentially leaving and Deam with only a year left.

Hence why I like him maybe as multi inning arm and if need be convert him next year especially if *gasp* Rogers doesn't return.

Anthony Nunez with another performance yesterday that showed why heβs become a pitch model darling. @oriolesreview.bsky.social has been all over this.
The bullpen would benefit from his presence but itβd be kind of ridiculous to shut the door on him as a starter bc of how many good pitches he has.
Following along with this game is a good reminder to go watch Season 3 of The Wire

TJStats has undergone a massive overhaul recently
Here are some of the newest features:

Let's take a deep dive at what has changed.. π§΅
I would say if Bassitt is sitting 91-92 and touching 93 today itβs a good sign for his first spring start. If heβs struggling to keep it above 90 it becomes a real storyline to watch the rest of the way.

2026 Orioles Projection (as of today)
Birdland Metrics: 81 Wins (~36% playoff odds)
Fangraphs: 84 Wins (~51% playoff odds)
The two models have fundamental differences, but both are converging on the same expected win total.

I am glad you went with the old favorite as opposed to the new love in Nunez.

Hey @oriolesreview.bsky.social
Can we?
Had this as a topic on the last podcast.
Now Iβm wondering which one doesnβt make the bullpen.
Strong disagree.
I really value your insight. Keep posting!
Grant Wolfram's going to make a run for the lefty specialist role.

I am finally home.
Itβs good to be back in Baltimore.
This did not age well.
And somehow I ended up in the bad place.
Kevin Brown: βand thatβs Coby Mayoβs second throwing error here in his first professional appearance at third base in almost a year. Itβs a tough situation but hopefully Jordan Westburg will be back soon.β
