I think it's really interesting and helps to protect yourself next year with Rogers/Eflin/Bassitt all potentially leaving and Deam with only a year left.

Hence why I like him maybe as multi inning arm and if need be convert him next year especially if *gasp* Rogers doesn't return.

They keep using him like a pen arm. I’d like to see if he could go multiple innings.

The bullpen would benefit from his presence but it’d be kind of ridiculous to shut the door on him as a starter bc of how many good pitches he has.

I would say if Bassitt is sitting 91-92 and touching 93 today it’s a good sign for his first spring start. If he’s struggling to keep it above 90 it becomes a real storyline to watch the rest of the way.
