We were gone for 12 hours and the cat is SO MAD.

When will we, as a society, give up on car alarms? I’m tired of my neighbors going off.

Am I too chronically online? Yes. Will I change that behavior? No.

I just poured mug number 1!

I did not succeed. Partially because the book was terrible. Partially because I, very unreasonably, had to do my job.

Final tea count for the day: 6 massive mugs.

In my favorite mug I had to buy for myself because my husband refused to get it for my birthday. (Also pictured: my emotional support water bottle and the happy light that keeps me from devolving into depression gloop.)

How many (very large) mugs of tea can one woman drink today in the fucking frigid state of Minnesota? So far we’re at four.

I’m also reading it on my phone and that’s been a choice given the context of the book…

I’m really enjoying it! But I’m a zombie wimp so definitely not before bed. I tried watching The Walking Dead once and I went outside after two episodes and some guy was walking slow across the street and I was sure he was a zombie so that was the end of that.

I’m such a vibe reader that I’ll just put it down and never pick it up again 😂. I’m usually fine reading whatever I’m currently on, but I’m reading Hollow Kingdom (pretty sure I got that from you actually) and I just can’t do zombie books before bed.

What’s that? I have three books checked out on Libby? Better download this 600 page book on KU before my free month ends in four days.

I keep picking up books to be my easy bedtime reading and then devouring them in two days…

😬 I haven’t gotten any yet, but I’m sure it’ll happen.
