This week in Ottawa, I focused on housing, transit, mental health, and strengthening our democracy. I met with leaders from Gatineau Airport to transit, housing, youth, and local organizations like Movember and Institute for Canadian Citizenship.

This past weekend, the Northern Super League, Canada’s first professional women’s soccer league, held its historic Championship Final at BMO Field in Spadina–Harbourfront.

Our government is investing $5.4M to grow women’s soccer, support athletes, and build community pride.

The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair is held each year at Exhibition Place. As the world’s largest indoor agricultural and equestrian fair, it is a major platform for showcasing Canadian agriculture and supporting local businesses.

I joined Minister Dabrusin and Minister Hodgson at Enwave to announce the launch of Canada’s Climate Competitiveness Strategy.

Climate action is not only a moral responsibility – it’s an economic imperative. We must meet the world’s rising demand for low-carbon products and energy.

I joined HMCS York for a sunrise Remembrance Day ceremony, and then laid a wreath at Fort York in #SpadinaHarbourfront.

Today, we took time to remember the Canadians who fought for our rights, our freedoms and our way of life.
