I’ve long advocated for the press corps to stand in solidarity and do two things:

1. Follow ups should be directly at him being an asshole and defending their coworkers

2. They should absolutely ignore him and refuse to give him any press other than the fact that he’s an asshole

If you were part of the WH press for a day & Trump replied to your (or a colleague's) totally fair question with “youre a stupid person,” or “quiet, piggy,” how would you respond to him? There must be ONE reporter who understands that confronting powerful people overrides “decorum” or access, right?

I’m skeptical on that one. I would love to see it, but it’s going to depend not only on how fast people retire, but how quickly the special elections are scheduled (the rules for that vary by state and are sometimes up to the Governors).

I think we’ll see charges (pending Trump pardons, obviously), but I don’t think it’s going to be during this administration.

That being said, I do thing Hegseth and Patel are wearing out their welcome with Trump and we’ll likely see some junk drawer (Cabinet) rearrangement soon.

Are we on “Hagueseth Watch”? How long until he is deposed, and then charged and incarcerated?

I’ve wondered the same thing, honestly. It can’t help twitter’s standing with investors or advertisers, it reveals a whole bunch of propaganda accounts that are just there to take advantage of ad sharing and meddle in our affairs, etc.

Why, in your opinion, did Musk allow us to see where X accounts are geographically located? He knows how many bots are out there, so I’m very confused why he did it. What’s in it for him to do it? PS; I do love that it was done, just wondering the motive

It looks like it’s going to be way closer than it should be. The GOP is still projected to win, but with the way Democrats have outperformed in special elections, I wouldn’t be *shocked* to see an upset - but I certainly wouldn’t bet on one.

Usually Trump wears 3-inch extended shoulder pads with his suits to hide his physical pear-shape & to give an illusion of strength.

Here with no shoulder pads & his actual 2-inch shoulders.

So much so that the seam for his shirt’s sleeve is drooped 2-3 inches below his shoulder’s edge.

Not directly, no. I had someone show me one of my own tweets a couple times. That was an interesting experience (and a good test of my poker face!).

I think he almost certainly will. After the midterms he’s going to be handing out pardons like Ronny Jackson hands out opioids.

I worry more about the data than anything, honestly. They almost certainly aren’t managing it properly. It’s only a matter of time before it’s all compromised.
