I was blessed with a Chaucer professor that was so in love with teaching that I still can hear his voice clearly in my head more than 30 years later.

Sadly, I also had more than a few that obviously regretted their life choices and the whole class suffered for it.

That makes zero sense to me. I play with a few folks from Australia, and the lengths they will go to in order to join a game surpasses anyone else by far.

It is one thing I do like about games that had a Kickstarter, they need to disclose if the game uses any AI

The fact that AI art is getting better makes my job that much harder when it comes to ordering in new games to the stores.

So many folks hate hate hate the universes beyond sets, but as a retailer I've seen those sets bring in so much new blood. I have regular players that only started playing because of LotR and Avatar. I had two people at the prerelease for TMNT that are back in after decade plus absences.

But I very much put it out there that if there is an issue in play, you gotta step up. As the GM I'm not gonna pick up on every subtle bit of body language, especially if we've never met before the game.

I run a lot of con games and try to start each one out with a talk about lines and veils, but only so much can happen when you have 2-3 hours total to fit everything in.
