The words we use matter.
I don’t care what “they” do. They don’t put their head on your pillow at night. Choose your words carefully and with kindness. You deserve the riches that come with that choice. Be direct. Be bold. Be kind.

Life is just a series of moments - connected to each other in strings of moments. How will we spend our moments today and in the coming days?

Dear Ones, I have faith in you. I have faith in us. Everyday Faith is not the faith in mythological beings. It’s like faith in a chair to hold you. Faith in your car to start. Faith in your friends. Faith that at least one seed will sprout. I have faith in you.

We are all, in our hearts, bringing different things to this day. Things that feel too deep to be shared. Things that brighten us, things that break us. Grateful that we are complex enough to hold it all. I love you.

Call it meditation, call it prayer. Whatever.
It is connection - inward, outward. Connection to something bigger than me. Social Justice, power for the marginalized, and strength for the weary is my prayer and desire for connection today.

When we gather in Love and the outcome is Joy, this is a fierce form of resistance. Hate and fear cannot thrive in that space.
