I'd imagine it's to make conversations feel more natural, phrases like "the holy grail of heaven" being said a ton would prob feel quite stuffy

That said I wish they atleast tried to maintain the christianity of it because I feel it's very relevant to this story, esp in regards to amalthus & klaus
