"My dear friends, Yesterday Majd’s surgery was performed and the blood clot pressing on his spinal cord was removed. From my heart, thank you for the mercy and kindness you showed us. Without you we could not have reached this moment. Majd woke up after the operation and is stable, but he still cannot move the lower half of his body or his feet. Seeing him like this breaks my heart. Doctors say everything now depends on how the spinal cord responds after the long pressure it endured. They ordered immediate specialized physical therapy to awaken the nerves and give him a chance to move again. They told us clearly: there is no time to delay. This therapy requires special equipment available only at Al-Wafa Specialized Center in Gaza, and the cost to begin is $700. Please stay with us. Your support may help Majd stand on his feet again."
