An elderly white lady had an award winning Black writer thrown off the train last month because she’s didn’t like how he was sitting.

One would think he had more power & influence than her. But those awards & that money didn’t keep him on the train.

The reason a lot of white people can operate in the privilege of a comment like “we used to be able to have dissenting opinions & now they break friendships” is because the people of color in the room had to be silent in order to remain in the room safely.

It's really more a general feeling of exhaustion, but yes, there are moments of rage.
