It is very frustrating to see

1. "There is absolutely no use for this technology!" from non-disabled people when it would be great for me specifically as a disability aid,

2. and "No disabled person could ever need this" from disabled people.

This scam invite to speak at the LA Times Festival of Books appears to be a variation on the book club invite impersonation scam. If you respond, "Jennifer" (w/ a Gmail address, no web presence, & no word on what she's co-founder of) sends several "spotlight" options, ranging from $299 to $572

So y'all, please don't play around in November and think voting will be business as usual. Vote early if you can. Vote early if you can. (Yes, I'm saying it twice.) Check your voting location days before. Bring water and snacks and an umbrella and something to read.

White people (regardless of political division) are settling in to a future where they talk about 2016 & 2024 the way some segments of the south speak of an equally lost cause, but with absolutely none of the moral conviction.

Be bold
Take up space
Ask for more money
Closed mouths don’t get fed
Follow your intuition
You are enough
Authenticity is enough
Ditch those self limiting beliefs
Do it scared
Don’t give up

Actor Sam Reid as the vampire Lestat in AMC's adaptation of "Interview with a Vampire" from Season 1 of the series. He is a white man with blonde hair that is long and tied in a ponytail with a ribbon, blue eyes, a serious expression. He is wearing an ivory or cream-coloured jacket and a lace scarf. The jacket has gold buttons on it, and one can also see the top of his cream-colored silk pants. The background is beige with a woman standing in hte background, and beside him, two pairs of hands, one holding a drinking glass with a brown liquid in it.

Growing up queer in South India in the 90s was life on hard mode, but with a bit of self-preservation, lots of mistakes, and Savage Garden, I got through it

Anyway, have my disaster bisexual essay about lying about liking a boy when I was thirteen
