Yeah. It didn't happen. They shot him through the door of his own home. And then arrested him. And then lied about it. Again.

And they almost shot some kids in the process.

One of the reasons I’m against Marsy’s Law being used to “protect” law enforcement. The information comes out, whether it’s in discovery or at the annual police awards ceremony where someone gets an award for “heroism” and they tell on themselves.

You don't need superspy-level OPSEC in order to protest fascism. But protest does involve risk. My goal when I teach people about digital privacy/security is to make sure that people understand what risks they're taking so they can make appropriate mitigations while still accomplishing their goals.
