I also really love the terms used by the project. "Spindles" and "strings" sound so much cuter to me than "runners" and "gists/pastes".
Maybe I'm just weird, but I love when projects have a theme like that :3
I'm migrating some of my repos from #Codeberg to @tangled.sh today!
Tangled is such a cool project, and I'm really happy to migrate there :3

I need to be able to log into multiple devices at the same time, log into an account without needing an entire database migration, etc
Is there an E2EE messaging platform/protocol that uses ATProto for identity?
I love XMPP, but the one major issue I have with it is you can't move your account to another server. I feel like ATProto would be perfect for solving that issue.
I would literally spend all day on Blusky if I could, I love this platform so much.
Is that a problem? Maybe, but it actually makes me feel good unlike every other platform (especially TikTok). And, I can legitimately make friends and meet good people here.
Aww, cute :3

09.08.2025 12:49 — 👍 45 🔁 7 💬 1 📌 0We ran a randomized controlled trial to see how much AI coding tools speed up experienced open-source developers.
The results surprised us: Developers thought they were 20% faster with AI tools, but they were actually 19% slower when they had access to AI than when they didn't.
I really hope so, especially now that people are realizing just how inefficient and horrible for the environment it is.
I don't think most investors really care about that (or ethics in general), though.
I hope they never get a return on the money they've invested, they don't deserve it.
Looks like Bluefin has also fixed all my issues with OpenRGB crashing.
I'm so happy, I can use audio effects on my keyboard now :3

- pays artists fuck all money and destroys the industry
- puts millions of dollars into joe rogan's pocket, helping to decimate the political landscape
- started to create and flood it's service with LLM crap to further oust musicians
- winds up directly funding drone warfare via it's CEO
After using #Bluefin for a while, I can confidently say I'm going to stick with it long term.
I haven't even thought about updates or any system management related things in the past ~week, and honestly it's very refreshing.

I think my best advice for having fun on social media is this: don't worry about being annoying, post about things that bring you joy, interact with people you think are cool, and the right people will find you 🫶🏻

I'll probably never use it though, I hate the chromium UI, and I prefer WebKit over Blink personally
We need competition, and Chromium/Blink does NOT need any more market share.
The WebKit ecosystem is definitely improving rapidly, but I know if Firefox continues to get worse, most people are going to move to Chromium-based browsers, not WebKit ones. I really don't want to see that happen.
